Qualitivity Quality Assessment Report

Hi community,

when creating the qulitiy assessment report with Qualitivity I always get as an assessment result a FAIL. It seems that when calculating the penalty, Qualitivity does the calculation with 0 words instead of the real number of words (here 2036) in the file. Has someone any idea, how to make Qualitivity calculate the penalty result with the real number of words in the file?

I'm using the 2021 version of Qualitivity in Trados Studio 2021.

Screenshot of Trados Studio's Qualitivity report showing a FAIL assessment result with a penalty applied of 0, despite the document containing 2036 words.

Screenshot of Trados Studio document statistics showing a total of 2036 words with various match types, including 116 segments of automated translation.

Thanks!

Best regards,

Mihaela Vela

I think this is a bug in Qualitivity.  I'm not sure how many people use the TQA in here these days since Trados Studio has a very advanced capability that is available out of the box... although you do need the Professional version for this feature in order to configure it for use.  Perhaps you are able to use that or do you have a specific reason for wanting to use Qualitivity?

We can schedule some time in to look at this, but it won't be really soon, so if you have another mechanism you can use in the meantime, or if you can live with manually editing the html report, the that would be good.
