Also, did you create the project yourself? The more information we have, the better.

Finally let’s test this:

1. In Windows Explorer create a copy of the source file. For example, file.xlsx to file2.xlsx
2. Add file2.xlsx to your project in Trados Studio, but don't pre-translate it.
3. Generate target file. Does it work?
4. If so, now pre-translate it. Generate target file. Does it work?
