Failed to initialize view 'TranscreateManager_View'.

Question

Dear All, 
 I'd be grateful if anyone can help with the above error. 
 Whenever I open Trados, I get the same error "Failed to initialize view 'TranscreateManager_View'. 
 I've re-installed, repaired it, with no luck.

Not to mention that I can't find the Trados Translate anywhere, except the downloaded file from SDL Website. It's not in the plugins folder.

 Following-up on this, please download and install "Reports Viewer Plus", that is needed for Transcreate to work correctly:

 You are absolutely right! I think the developer, and the QA team only checked this against a small number and didn't even think about scrolling! It is a much better feature with their updates, but without the ability to scroll it's useless. 
 So the solution, if you can't start Studio where you can use the integrated appstore, is to manually remove the plugins from these folders as needed: 
 
 c:\Users\[ USERNAME ]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins\Packages\

Hi Oana and Paul I'm having problems with this plugin as well, and it's impossible for me to work on Trados Studio! I've tried all the tips suggested so far but nothing's worked. I can't find the SDL Plugin Management in my computer, but I managed to locate the plugin folder and deleted it. After that, I restarted the computer, and the problem is still there.  Could you please give us a bit more details about the issue? Please save the error by clicking on the disc icon and, then saving to your desktop and including this in communications with SDL. 
 These 'error stacks' helps us locate the issues and provide solutions much quicker generally.

 it does not help us, as that is the path in your PC, so we can't see the details. 
 Can you please highlight the whole of the error message then paste it here, instead? 
 Also, can you please confirm if you have the plugin "Trados Transcreate" installed?

 Thank you. I could reproduce the issue and I'l pass it to the teams to have a look at it. 
 In the meantime, please remove the plugin, following these steps:

In order to solve this issue please follow the steps described below: 1. Click on Start and Search for the SDL Plugin Management . 2. Open SDL Plugin Management . 3. Find the Trados Transcreate plug-in and Uninstall it. 4. Open Studio and check if the error is still present.

 On the bottom taskbar of your Windows, go to "Search" ( the magnifying glass on the left corner,next to the Windows icon) and start typing "SDL Plugin Management".
