Jerzy already explained why this happens, but I do see your problem. Some years ago everyone would have known what tw4winMark was all about because the old bilingual DOC files used by Trados Workbench used them. Today it's not so obvious, so I can sympathise.
It is worth searching the knowledgebase when you see something you don't understand. For example:
