New "Upgrade Translation Memories" icon -- produces error message

Question

The new Studio version has a new icon. I'd like to explore it, but when I click it I get this error message: 
 
 In English, it says something like: "An exception error has occurred in the target of an activation" which is of course (or as usual) incomprehensible. 
 What does it mean, and what can I do to avoid it? (I've tried clicking both the Knowledge Base and the Community link, but could not find anything useful there.) 
 Or could the icon relate to one of (the few) plugins I have installed? If so, which one? (There is none with a name that would suggest this icon.)

Hello @ Mats Linder 
 The 'headline' error rarely provides enough information to help. 
 Please always post the full error stack- ( click on the disc icon- save the XML to your desktop and then attach to the thread ) as this often reveals the cause of the problem. 
 Could you please confirm that you have installed the following Compatibility and Migration app?

 When an error pops up- you can see in the bottom right the 'old blue floppy disk' icon. 
 You are then able to save the .xml somewhere and then add it to the thread. 
 The enhancements in CU5 are described here-

 Once the app is installed, you should no longer receive the error.
