Edit: from what I found out, it's not when Studio is started, but when a project with that target language is started, that the Hunspell file for that specific languages gets changed.

      I have a couple of questions to that I want to clarify : 

1.) What do you mean by project started ? When the project is created or when you open up a file ?

2.) Do you have any plugins installed ? 

3.) Would you be kind to share the project with us. You can send it to rcornea@sdl.com all data is treated as confidential and it will be deleted. If you have a simple file it's even better I want to see how the project is structured and what are you using more than the content of the file. 

4.) You are talking about the dictionaries under HunspellDictionaries folder ?

      We didn't actively work in this area so I can't pin point the problem exactly and I would need more details to debug it and take a look.

Hi Robert Cornea,

1) when I open a file in a project with LB-LU target language (Hunspell is set as spell checker for Trados). It only happens at the first start of Trados during a PC session though, not when I restart Trados.

2) Yes, many. But none relating to Hunspell

Hi Pascal,

      Thank you for your answers and the project. I checked with a clean CU 5 ( without any plugins) open the project, open and changed each file and there were no changes in the dictionary files. If there are no extra steps than what I mentioned it might mean it's a local issue I would advise to remove all plugins try with a clean install to reproduce the issue.
