Extract Hyperlinks from Word documents to make their content translatable in Studio 2019

Hi,

My version is SDL Trados Studio 2019 SR2, 15.2.8.3007.

I would like to be able to edit hyperlinks from Word documents.

The Extract Hyperlinks option in selected in the File Types > Common section, but the hyperlinks still can't be modified.

Is it something I’m not doing or doing wrong?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

  • Is it something I’m not doing or doing wrong?

Hard to tell as we don't know what you're doing!

    • Did you make the change in your filetype settings before you created your project?
    • Are you using a project template to create your projects that perhaps doesn't have this option set?
    • Which type of Word document is it?
    • Can you share a screenshot of what you see when the file is opened?  Just a couple of segments before and after the text with the hyperlink.
    • Can you share a snippet of the file with the hyperlink in it?  So copy the file, delete everything in the document apart from a couple of sentences before and after the hyperilnk.  Anonymise the text in Word first so you can safely share it.
