What exactly is the problem you encounter? 
You say that you have a problem with a corrupted TM, but if I understand well, the same TM can be opened without problem by the customer, which is strange.
What happens when you try to open the TM in the view "Translation Memories"? Does it say that it is corrupt? 
Can you still export the TM? If yes, do this and then create a new TM and import the TMX yoiu exported.

If you cannot export but the TM works fine at the customer's site, as you say, then ask your customer to do a TMX export and send it to you. You can then create a new TM and import this TMX file.

In any case, please post a screenshot of the error message you get. This will be more helpful than just saying that it does not work.

TM import/export is an excellent suggestion, I don't really how to do that anymore but I'll find out. My client saw this post as well as your answer and says she knows you well, so maybe she will talk to you directly about this. I'll post a screenshot if needed.

Import/Export is very easy and intuitive, the option is in the context menu (right-click) in the "Translation Memories" view.

OK, thank you! The thing is, now that I deleted the TranslationMemoryRepository.xml file (as in the procedure described here regarding corrupt TM: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge), I no longer can open the TM view...
