Hello, a defect was created for this situation with ID CRQ-25391.

It should be addressed in a future release for Trados Studio 2021.

It is partially resolved. I tried it now with a file of 376 words. Trados successfully calculated the p/f threshold as 19 points (I used the TAUS DQF template). However, if I change the threshold mid-project or create the TQA settings from scratch, Trados still calculates it based on characters despite the fact that I set the measurement unit to words.

I have Trados Studio 2021 SR2 - 16.2.12.9338 (which is the latest version of Studio 2021).

It is not working for me:

I left the TAUS DQF settings untouched:

And in my test project the total amount of points is 66:

I obviously need the word score, not the character score. But, no matter what I do, or if I change the settings or which profile I import (LISA QA, MQM, SAE_J2450...) it doesn't work. 

I also have the latest version for 2021:

I wonder, how many people are actually working with this feature successfully? Which version, which profile?

It works perfectly in Studio 2019. 

I don't know what's wrong with the feature in the 2021 version! The plus point is that both Studio 2019 and 2021 work with the same license.

Thanks a lot for your help, Nessma :) 

But, I can't (nor do I want to) downgrade from this version... which is using the whole company and it is supposed to be perfectly operational with all its features. 

Paul Lydia Simplicio , can you provide some information about this issue? Sorry to ask you this way but we would really like to use the feature and I can't figure out how to make it work.
