How can I disable AT?

Hi folks,
Does anybody know how can I prevent the blue AT status appearing in hyperlink-only segments?
All of them are just a copy of the source and I don't need them marked as AT.
I know that there are apps or scripts for hiding AT status but I don't need hiding. I need to disable it.
I seem to have fiddled with all options I could find but AT survives all my efforts.
Any idea?

  • Note that this is not Machine Translation... it's Automated Translation from Studio

However, why not filter on them all and then copy source to target.

Yes, that's what I do now. However the AT blue marker persists.
Ok, from your reply I guess this AT status is imminent. Will live with that. No big problem.
    Thank you Paul.

  • If I select Copy Source to Target (or Clear target Segment), the AT blue icon is gone:

How do you do it that the AT icon is kept?

  • I think you should ask those who developed the software.
Your segments have been already confirmed with blue AT marker too, which means that you observe exactly the same behavior as I do.
Yes, if I confirm segments first and then re-insert them again (the way you do), their status changes. I didn't know that. Thank you for the tip. But isn't this workflow too complicated for such a simple task? Insert > Confirm > Insert again > Confirm again... I mean not even doing this trick but getting to know how to do it. Needs brainstorm and experiments to figure out.

I'm really struggling with this one.  The AT status is merely telling you that your TM automatically translated these segments because it knows what to do with them.  If yo don't like this then turn off the recognition in your TM settings and handle them manually.  However... that's going to take you just as long as handling them afterwards and removing the little AT symbol.

Perhaps we should be asking you what you want exactly?  How should this be handled?  Is it simply the fact it has an AT status that's bothering you?  What would you suggest we put there to tell users it was the computer that handled this for them automatically?

This is exactly what I am asking about. You could avoid struggling if you gave me an instruction on how to "turn off the recognition in my TM" at the very beginning of this convo.
Now I've got what you mean. Thank you.

Update: Even now, when you gave me a hint, I still have to google  for "how to stop recognizing hyperlinks". Why not just give a strightforward instruction: go to there, press that button. That's it. No! I must apply my best detective skills to investigate. Right, the correct word is "investigate" how to use Trados. That's what I'm doing at the moment. Why on erath it is all that complicated?!

  • Well ... my apologies for not telling you immediately how to disable the Acronym and Hyperlink recognition in your TM.  My first thought was whether you were confusing this with machine translation.  My second thought, where I struggled later, was in understanding why you wanted to go to all this hassle and lose this capability when the effort involved in working manually, compared to removing them later (or just dealing with them before you start working), will be the same.

    My apologies for that too!

  • Dear  ,  ,  !!!

I know I am kinda of late with the question....but....I did not get how to disable these AT translations.

    Current Trados version: 2024.

I was looking for the hyperlinks, emails, dates, numbers, etc. recognition option and ...did not find it.

It´s in the general options, right?

    Thanks in advance, guys!

  • Jesús, you mean, this action must be performed for each TM???
