Perhaps it might help, if you create a new project template as it sounds as though the previous template might be the issue here.

Thanks for your diligent and interesting reply. Unfortunately, I don't think it applies to my problem as I've never used or created a project template. To be sure, I have just opened the Create a project template dialog box and all that appears in there is the default template selection (which I have always left unchanged). If I remember correctly, other correspondents have already mentioned a problem similar to mine with my or other editions of Studio (maybe you're aware of that). • where do you delete the TMs
• where do these deleted TMs show up again

I have simply deleted the TMs in the Open TM dialog box by right-clicking on them and selecting Delete, and they no longer appear in that box (of course). However, when I go in the project parameters in the Home menu (Accueil in French) to add a TM created as a file or available on a server, the deleted TMs still appear in the box where I'm adding the TM that I want even though they no longer exist. I am sure you know those two boxes as everybody uses them (Open a TM, and Translation Memory and Automatic Translation in the project parameters under All Language Pairs). This is not a very complicated situation... but the problem is real! Un cordial saludo.

There really is a problem here... I also keep getting an error message telling me that "Memory (name of the memory) cannot be found and to click Cancel to deactivate it if it no longer exists" (my set language in Studio is French, so I am just translating freely). Even though this message has already appeared numerous times in the past days and that I've clicked on Cancel every time, it still shows up again and the memory has obviously not been deactivated... Kind of annoying...

Can you post a screenshot of your Project Settings/Language pairs and the Global setting - File-Options please.

Perhaps we can see then where the issue is coming from.

Here they are, but I think they are too blurry. Is there a way I can post more readable screenshots? I just displayed the requested dialog boxes, pressed on Prt Scr, came back here and press on Ctrl + V for pasting. I don't know any other way. Thank you for any help in that regard.

JUST REALIZED THAT CLICKING ON THEM ENLARGES THEM AND THEY BECOME READABLE! GREAT!

You have asked me for the "Language Pairs" and the Global Options views, not the All Language Pairs and the corresponding one in the Global options! Here are those ones:

Like I've already explained a few times, the two TMs that appear there have already been deleted and no longer appear in the dialog box that displays when you want to open a TM. I am not sure that seeing those views will be helpful... I had already mentioned that it was in the project settings screen. And the error message itself does say that those memories cannot be found and that by clicking "Cancel", they will be deactivated, but they keep coming back every single time I open a file.
