I updated to the last version of studio yesterday and now it will not open. That is a first and I need it fast. Please take a look at the cryptic not for customer error popup I received instead. Please suggest best solultion and work arounds. Thanks.

Yes, WS will not work now.
Try installing the WS components from here: gateway.sdl.com/.../communityknowledge

No. It means you need to uninstall the WS App from the appstore and reinstall the latest version.

I did not have that one installed (at least the button said Install), maybe that has to do with me uninstalling in Windows Control panel? In the app description it says very important ONLY USE THE INTEGRATED APPSTORE TO DOWNLOAD THIS IF YOU HAVE TRADOS STUDIO SR1 CU5/CU7 INSTALLED, I have forgot the CU5/7 acronyms means? I have Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 16.1.8.4404. Should I install it still?
IMO yes. CU = cumulative update.
