Are you able to see any comments in your Word generated document. I mean, insert a comment and verify that you can view that comment in Word.

Also, ensure that the Trados application is up-to-date, Could you please post the Version and Build number? You can go to Help > About to check them both.

Last: Could you please ensure that your Word document is DOCX and not the old DOC format? There 2 different file types for Word documents and the settings mentioned above have to be done in the proper file type.

Yes, I added I comment directly in my Word document and I do see it.

My Trados appllication is up-to-date.

Version and build number: Trados Studio 2021 SR1 - 16.1.8.4404.

She asked the same question in the tradosusers group (studio@tradosusers.groups.io) yesterday and we actually reiterated your answer that she had to tick the option under project settings (and not under options) and to generate a new target file. According to her reply in that group, it worked out for her. So the problem should be solved now.
