I haven't found any way of doing this.
When Trados crashes, it would be useful to be able to restore a changed layout and not have to redo everything again, as I have just had to do.
Any ideas welcome!

And it's so simple! Just save your user profile settings and there you go...

There is. You can save and change profiles by going to the Home tab and then selecting Setup-Manage user profiles.
