I would like to know how to recognize (make visible) highlighting of PPTX source file on Trados Studio 2019. I have worked on a PPTX file with a lot of highlighting but they are not recognized on my Trados Studio 2019. I would appreciate your advice here. (It is not related to term recognition.)

If so, how should I report? I am not used to this forum yet but should I talk to Paul as well??? BTW, my surname is not Hatanaka. I have wondered why you thought I was Miss Hatanaka... She is another person though we happen to have the same first name...
I have now sent a message to Paul via his blog as well... I would appreciate advice from all of you here, regarding how to raise this issue formally or any other option available to solve this problem... and I would appreciate it if you could change "Hatanaka" to "Ayres", as I do not like to freak out Miss Hatanaka either...

Thank you very much for your clarification and so sorry that it was due to the faulty system. I did not know you have to use @ to address people, as I simply click "Reply" button to reply and just use "Hello" or "Dear"... Thank you also for letting me know about this IDEAS section!!! I will try that immediately. I also would like to know if there is a way to report this issue as a "bug".
In fact to see highlights on any type of source text seems to be a "must" function of a translation editor to me. What happened to me was, the client sent me a PPTX source file with a lot of highlighting to indicate where not to translate. It didn't show on my Trados Studio 2019 editor, so I translated the entire file and manually reversing it one by one!!!

I wouldn't call it a bug, unless it was supposed to work, but a feature that you can request.
Sorry about your problem. I think that the Community Advanced Display Filter plugin could have help you to filter (at least partly) those highlighted texts.

It is unfortunate that I seem to be able to find only some of the highlighted texts in source, but still... I just would like to find out how to find highlights on every layer of a PPTX file. Maybe this function currently finds only highlights on forefront layers...
Or... just in case... please let me know if there is any other tag than "nfa=" on Trados for highlighting...

Please provide a sample file that contains highlighted texts you can see and also highlighted texts you can't see. Only then will we be able to help you properly.

Thank you so very much for your kind reply. Well, the thing is... I am bound by confidentiality agreement on this one, so please give me a few days till I check with my client and explain the issue and ask if I can disclose the document... It was a large PPTX file with a full wordcount of 14,000+ , but the final count excluding the highlighted segments was around 8,000. So... Still, I am very happy to be finally talking to you on this issue...
