I don't have any problem running the Desktop DeepL program so it seems that it is a problem with the plugin

Please make sure that the following domains are added to your firewall/antivirus exceptions
www2.deepl.com
api.deepl.com
Next, please ensure the API key is added correctly

Please note recent changes made in the DeepL plugin are only supported in the Trados Studio 2019/2021 versions.

You will need to google regarding AVG as each provider has different settings.
This article will help you also to ensure all the correct folders are added to the AVG exceptions list.
