Also, please advise the following:

1. Are your documents and files synchronized with OneDrive? If so, please stop the Synching from OneDrive.

2. Do you have any plugin installed? if so, which one and how did you installed them, via Appstore page or integrated AppStore in the software?

Thanks for your reply. I did the Workaround 1: Run a repair installation and it seemed to work some of the time, but I have been having more issues so I tried Workaround 2 and pausing OneDrive, with no joy. However, Workaround 3: Reset Trados Studio to default settings seems to have done it (for now, at least), even with OneDrive syncing.
