Hi ,

thank you for thinking about my issue. However, the topic that you linked does not apply to my situation: The other one is about the concordance search failing - in my case the concordance search does work (as mentioned), but that is the only thing that works. Studio finds the text via the concordance but is not able to present the text to me in the translation window or insert it into the target I am working on.

Also, there were no recent updates to my Studio. And of course I tried disconnecting and reconnecting the TMs in question.

I also noticed that numbers and acronyms are not recognised as placeables when I work on a segment the first time. Only after I have confirmed the segment are they recognised as placeables. (Too late by then.)

Does anybody have some more suggestions?

Yes I was aware of the concordance context, but what I wanted to highlight was that you are on 2019 and the same error (all be it different context) as also reported against 2019.

If you are also now mentioning things like recognising placeables, then I would review your Fine Tune and Performance Settings: https://docs.rws.com/813470/567724/trados-studio-2021-sr2/fine-tuning-performance-settings

Okay, so someone else who is using Studio 2019 had the same error message in a different context. I am not sure how this information would help me. I tried what is suggested there.

I am now working on a different project - different files, different TMs, and no problem whatsover.

As for reviewing Fine Tune and Performance settings: I hadn't made any changes there, so I'm not sure what I would need to change since everything was fine as it was. I hadn't changed anything since the last project for that particular client, and up to now everything was just fine. Could it be that Trados didn't like this particular source file (a Word file)?
