Language pair problem

Question

I have a problem when I add a new term to the Termbase from the Editor view in Studio: the language pair in the Studio document is from Eng to Armenian, but when I select a pair of source and translated terms and hit "Add new term", the ARM word appears under Eng. How can I correct this?

Can you check that your your assigned termbase has the same languages as the language pair of the project? 
Try to remove the termbase, then add it again, When you do so, Studio displays a window telling you that the termbase indexes have been adapted to the language pair. Check that the languages displayed are correct.

Perhaps you can share a screenhot of your indexes from the window where you add the Termbase? It does sound as though Walter is on the right track.

 I quoted your question here as it's a good question and far better for me to answer it here so others can benefit too. If you go to your Project Settings and then navigate to the termbase you can select the languages and make sure the correct language is being used. The languages are the indexes and if they are the wrong way around for some reason then the behaviour could be as you described:

Trados Studio > 1. Trados Studio
