Hi, I have purchased SDL software 2021 today for the freelancer one (1 user) I would like to know if the license will be stored in my SDL account in case if the laptop gets cracked or I decide to change the window? if it's stored how am I going to use the license again?

The license will always be linked to your SDL account, not to a specific device. If you have your license activated on your PC/laptop, this counts as1 activation, so if your computer crashes you can reset your license directly from your SDL account (Products & Plans > Licenses > then click the Reset License option). Of course, if you are encountering error messages when trying to reset your license, you can ask for assistance on the community page (on the Licensing section).

I have just watched the force return license video and I noticed that this option of resetting the license is only available for the SDL Trados Studio 2017 and 2019 freelancer license what about 2021 Trados?

The Reset License option I've mentioned in my comment is also available for Trados Studio 2021 licenses. For instance, if you have a Freelance Plus license, the option will only appear if both your activations are in use.
