Displaying Arabic numbers in Trados

Hi there,

I am managing a project in a few languages, one of them being Arabic. My project contains a number of digits, which need to be converted to Arabic digits. The translator is working with another CAT tool but she is translating the .sdlxliff file. She has properly translated the digits as she provided me a screenshot. She also sent me a bilingual Word document, where the digits appear in Arabic after setting Word properly.

My problem is that I can't get the digits to display correctly in Trados, which means that when I generate the target, the digits are also in English and not in Arabic. We are translating .PSD files. What's more puzzling is that if I copy the Arabic digit from Word and paste it in Trados, it automatically converts to English. I have used Arabic World and have also tried another type of Arabic. I get similar results with both.

I am assuming that I am missing a setting somewhere in Trados but haven't been able to find which one.

Could someone help with this issue?

This is a screenshot of Trados:

And this is what the translator has translated:

Thank you,

Sarah
