An dieser Stelle wäre doch ein Screenshort notwendig. Worte ohne Bilder in der Technik/Software sind nur halb so verständlich.

What Jerzy is telling you is to make sure that the bilingual Excel filetype will be used to create your project.  Your excel file is simply an excel file and Studio has no way of knowing whether you want it to be handled as a bilingual filetype where one column is the source and another is the target, or if you want to translate the whole file.

To do this go to your filetypes and you will see this:

You have three Excel filetypes.  Two of them are for XLSX files so your bilingual Excel file needs to be an XLSX first of all.

Once it is an XLSX you now have two filetypes that could be used:

By default the Bilingual Excel is the bottom one.  When Studio has a choice it always take the first one it comes to.  So you have two options:

1. Move the Bilingual Excel filetype above the Microsoft Excel filetype like this:
   
   
   OR
   
   
2. Disable the Microsoft Excel filetype like this:
   
   
   

If you do this BEFORE you create your project then the bilingual Excel filetype will be used.

A useful tip to make this easier is to use a Project Template.  Then you can set the template up to always use the Bilingual Excel filetype so when you have a project like this you just select the appropriate template and wont have to keep changing settings.

ok - so looking at your screenshot the first line is the one missing.  If you look at the settings for the bilingual Excel you'll see this:

It is actually the default.  You probably didn't change it and so the first row has been excluded by design.

Was man selbst erlernt hat (sei es durch Lesen der Bedienungsanleitung oder durch das Ausprobieren), behält man auch lange. Und das wünsche ich Ihnen jetzt zum Advent.

In der Tat, nach dem Hinzufügen einer Kopfzeile, wurden mir die Begriffe richtig angezeigt.

Makes sense.  You either add a header to the Excel, or uncheck that option to exclude it.  Glad you managed to make it work.

Ach, wie glorreich. Vor dem Lesen (Übersetzer) kamen im Kindergarten das Puzzeln und Bilderbücher (Softwareentwickler).

Oh, wie Klasse, dass die Übersetzer beides machen (Puzzeln und Inhalte lesen, und das interdisziplinär . Ich wünsche mir zum Advent wirklich andere Sachen.
