Error when importing TMX files into an empty TM in Trados Studio 2021 (after updating to SR2)

Dear colleagues,

When importing TMX files (using the import files - add folder functon) into an empty TM the message I have copied below appears in respect of every TMX file. The number of TUs is not huge: around 5000. THe odd thing is, after closing the message and checking the previously "empty" TM, I can see that the TM contains the imported TUs (not sure if it contains all of them though). Does anyone know what is happening?

Thank you all in advance.

Screenshot of Trados Studio showing multiple import errors for TMX files with the message 'Error al importar. No se ha podido procesar el archivo.'

Detailed error message in Trados Studio indicating a System.Exception and a stack trace related to TranslationMemoryManager and JobExecutor.

  • Hi ,

Thank you for your clear screen prints and notes.
It allowed for me to know exactly were to look and confirm that we have a fix for this coming in CU9, which will be released shortly.

I can also confirm that from our understanding not all TU's got imported.

Workaround would be to import on a 1:1 basis.

I hope that despite this is ideal, it gives you clarity
