wow..
Trados Studio supports "Haitian Creole" ?
Should you still have problem even after following Ana LG's nice tip
Try to "Find and Replace" tmx's language part(s) with whatever text editor and import it

HC is not one of the listed langs in Trados. I've seen talk of using a plugin as a work-around, but those all referenced using google translate.
on 2nd thought
something quite strange
that language has no position on (Current) International Standard
so, I guess, it is not possible to make ordinary ".tmx" file, because there is no Language code for it
right ?

There is no language code that Microsoft or Trados will use as I explained below.
But there are language codes for it with other systems. ISO 3166 for example uses HT and HTI for the 2 and 3 letter codes for Haiti. ISO 639-2 uses HAT and ISO 639-1 uses HT for Haitian; Haitian Creole.
Elizabeth Pajak mentioned her client sent her an HC TMX file which is none of the codes used so far in our examples, so this is either because she meant HC as her own abbreviation for Haitian Creole or her client used some other system. It's not unheard of for tools to use their own custom codes that are supported in their own applications.
For Trados Studio the solution is simple. Edit the TMX so the language code used is something Trados Studio can work with. If French-Haiti isn't a language used elsewhere then it seems a good choice for this exercise and you would use fr-HT in the TMX.
