Have not been able to launch SDL Trados Studio 2021 - 16.2.9.9198 Freelance Plus for several weeks.

I do not have a technical support contract. Given the price the software costs, it seems to me that licensees should not have to pay extra to expect it to work.

I have used several versions of the software since the 2015 version. Never had a problem like this before. In fact, my 2021 version worked perfectly until December.

Since the beginning of the year, I can no longer open it. I had several error messages, for which I searched very long in the Community Support databases. I have applied many procedures to try to solve the problem without success. Now I don't even get an error message anymore: the application just won't open.

I had to turn down many assignments because of this sudden and unexplained failure. You can imagine the mood I'm in... 



Would it be too much to ask for technical support to finally make a living with a properly paid tool?
