Hi everybody,
absolutely desperate. Maybe someone can help?
When I tried to save my translation (Trados 2019) last night I received a failure notice that source file could not be found, followed by a huge amount of numbers and letters (unfortunately did not make a screen shot). Systems told me to upload the source once again. I found it, strangely under :/D and not :/C and tried – might have used the wrong file.
I translated a few more lines, saved and all went well. When I went to word into my trados folder, I could not open the word file – another strange message
- Error in opening word file
- Try the following:
- Check on the data authorizations for this document or disk drive
- Make sure you have sufficient working memory or storage space
- Open this file with the restore text converter (D…..) – again drive D – strange!!!!
I can still open sdlXLiff and work in there, but not the word. I already deleted the German target file de-de and saved my Trados translation under a new name, but again the same problem.
Any ideas? I am not an expert in Trados and lost ...
