Good questions.  Probably better to take a mixed approach with the files you mention.

The message you are getting is telling you that only duplicates, or non-aligned segments were found.  In this case there is nothing to import and hence the message.  Perhaps provide a screenshot of the alignment editor immediately before you attempt to import?

No limit... although there is probably a practical limit in terms of performance for file-based TMs.  The limit depends somewhat on the type of TUs you have in there but it will be in the hundreds of thousands.

You also don't need a new TM each time you align.

Exactly !! I DO have bilingual SDLXLIFF files because I always receive Trados package for any projects.

I have tried at first, but it seemed I did make it. Because ; I have uploaded 2 bilingual files of 88 TUs & 51 TUs in a one single TM, but I see only 50 TU of the first bilingual file are in that TM.

What I did is;

1, Project setting / added AM in which I want to upload my translated TUs./ bilingual files. To be sure that I will upload these in THIS TM I have removed any other TMs.

2, Then I chose Batch Tasks >> Update Project Translation Memories. I am wondering which option do I have to select..... I have tried "populate" but I could not, error.

I thought stupid to align again but in the tutorial I did not find this step, from the bilingual file to TM.

(I watched tutorial video of "TM basics part 2 in Japanese" by Mr. Tsuchida but did not show how to upload from bilingual file. I needed to align or convert from Excel bilingual file.

I'm going to hazard a guess that your problem relates to only showing the first 50 TUs in the TM Maintenance Editor.  Take a look at these features and see if you can change the number to more than 50, or even navigate through the pages displayed:

I have never thought that I needed to go to next page or change the number of TUs.  

I choose 1000 TUs and now I could see in all TMs what I uploaded...
