I think in order for someone to help, you need to describe your problem more in more detail. What application / format is your file? What does 1 page size refer to - number of words / characters? What is "translation confirmation" and how is it slow?

Hi, I use normal word (now office 16) and pdf files. One page is ca. 1000-2000 characters. I translate mostly operational manuals, different size. I tried to make a project with a pdf file with ca. 100 000 characters and I was waiting for hours, after the first two task the three remaining (also file analysis!) were not completed at all, nothing has happened. I used my existing TMs of course updated. The translation is slow, because the confirmation takes a long time. How slow it is? What does it mean? In my preveious Trados version it was promptly. If I have to wait minutes or even one minutes I can not make my work economically, which is the advantage of Trados. I tried also the pre-translation, which would be also a big help, but does not work, it will not be completed! Without file analysis I can not make an offer. These are my big problems. I have urgent translation works and I use my old Trados Studio 11 that works now perfect (I had problem with it in December - also was slow and therefore I bought the new one - but now it is working, although it has not all the advantages as would be at the new version - e.g. machine translation)
First of all: do NOT load a PDF directly in Studio. This will bring you only trouble. Use a decent OCR program and convert the PDF manually or have a professional converting it for you.
As for the rest of your complaints: for me it looks like you would be using a very weak PC.

Hi, Jerzy, first of all, this is a basic task of Trados that pdf files converts directly to word. It was never a prolem. My Dell laptom is really not new, but funcioning excellent and at the beginning I had no problem with the new Trados 21.A little bit later I realized that it is slow, and I thought that maybe because of my laptop. I bought right away a brand new
(in fact it is with Windows 11) (costs 750 euro in Tenerife) and all problem I mentioned was with this NEW laptop! So what can I still do?
