I just installed Studio 2022 today and wanted to install my plug-ins.

When trying to go to the "private appstore" as discussed here, I get this message:

As my internet connection is obviously working in order to get this far, I wonder what I can do.

Thank you. I tried the method explained in the wiki, but the Appstore page is empty.

"Help" says "make sure you are signed in to Trados Studio with your RWS ID", but when I try, I get "Cannot connect to cloud".

It further instructs me to check my internet connection (I'm online since I'm writing this here) and firewall settings, but I don't know what to look for.

To use the Private AppStore please use the instructions in the wiki as advised.  The help is not going to provide the same information as this is based on the old appstore that is currently not in use.

If you followed the instructions correctly and the page is still empty please try entering this url into a browser and see if it returns any results?

It should just be the contents of a JSON file... so nothing pretty!

The link only produces code.

I did follow the wiki instructions, and the private appstore points to the link provided.

After that, the wiki article just said "Go to app store", which I did, and found it empty.

Yes, it installed, but doesn't show up in the Appstore, nor in Plug-ins.

I'll be honest... we're running out of ideas.  I speaking to the developer at the moment and the obvious thing was your port is closed... but then you would not have been able to see the JSON (you referred to it as code) when entering the url into a browser.  The details you have used look correct.

I'm wondering if there is anything else you can tell us about your setup?

1. where is it installed
2. what operating system are you running?
3. have you installed as one user (admin perhaps) and now run as another (non-admin)?

Or anything else that you know is a bit out of the ordinary?

One thing that is perhaps a little unusual, is that this is a now very old computer, running Windows 7 (I know, I know).

It's a desktop workstation with a hardwired internet-connection.

I don't think I installed as admin, but I'm the only one using this computer.

I just (tried the obvious and) restarted Studio 2022 and now the the Deepl app is there, as is other plug-ins.
