Hi,

I need to import memoQ TMs into Studio (2019) and keep the custom memoQ fields and values, especially the "document" values. The memoQ "document" field is represented as follows in the TMX export from memoQ 9.7:

There are a few older posts in this forum which faced similar challenges with custom fields in TMX (though from DGT or WS TMs), and the recommended solution was to go via Trados Workbench (!):

As I (or rather one of my computers) belong to the dinousaurs' species who still have a good old Trados Workbench installation+license, I managed to preserve the memoQ "x-document" field+values via a TWB import after manipulating "x-document" into "Txt::document" in the TMX file via NotePad++, and then importing the TMX file from TWB into Studio 2019. The manipulated TMX import did not work in Studio, maybe it did not like the other prop type fields...

Is this issue solved in Studio 2021? Then I might consider investing into an upgrade although I hardly use Studio any more...

Or can we really still not "live without Trados 2007" (as Paul phrased it in his article https://multifarious.filkin.com/2013/09/30/life-without-trados/), in the year 2022?
