It happens to me too. Very annoying. DeepL is quite glitchy. Sometimes it doesn't open when I do Ctrl+cc to send a segment to translate, then it doesn't insert the translated text back where it belongs. And there are many more glitches I'd like to see solved because I like it a lot!

Hi.  Well it looks as if it's Trados which is responsible rather than DeepL since if I use Ctrl CC in any other platform this doesn't occur.  Will have to take a closer look into this but  time is scarce ...:-).   DeepL is a real good tool btw.!

I imagine you are using the free DeepL otherwise you'd use the DeepL plugin for Trados Studio right?

I also have the DeepL desktop application installed and it is very handy.  I never use it in Trados but would agree with Mónica that it is quite buggy.  I often restart it during the day because it regularly takes over my Ctrl+C function and fires up every time I copy something.

I have no idea why Trados would cause this problem for you... maybe it does, maybe it doesn't... but we are very unlikely to investigate this problem.

Hey, Paul! Thank you for your reply. Since we're talking about DeepL... I have the license, but I don't always use the plugin because then my segments show as translated with "NMT" and I don't always want my client (who sends me packages) to know I'm using machine translation. Is there a way of keeping Studio from showing NMT if I use the DeepL (or any other MT) plugin?
