INSERT OVERWRITE ISSUE WITH DEEPL

Question

Hi colleagues. I work with Trados 2021 and have this specifically annoying fault appearing when using DeepL As soon as I paste a translated text passage from DeepL into a Trados target segment (CTRL V) Trados changes into overwrite mode although I never touched any other keys and Trados is still displaying INSERT mode. So each time I have to press FN key and INS to actually activate INSERT mode again. Any clue how to solve this. And please don't hint I should restart Trados... :-). Thanks for your help in advance !

 I imagine you are using the free DeepL otherwise you'd use the DeepL plugin for Trados Studio right? 
 I also have the DeepL desktop application installed and it is very handy. I never use it in Trados but would agree with M&oacute;nica that it is quite buggy. I often restart it during the day because it regularly takes over my Ctrl+C function and fires up every time I copy something. 
 I have no idea why Trados would cause this problem for you... maybe it does, maybe it doesn't... but we are very unlikely to investigate this problem.
