SDL Support helped me resolve my problem with Trados not starting back in April after an update. It's been opening fine since, but I downloaded and installed a new program update today and now nothing happens when I try to start the program again. I don't even get an error message, it just flashes as though it’s going to start and then nothing. I updated a lot of plugins too and restarted the computer since installing the update, so I suspect one of the updates is causing the problem as it did last time.
I hope you can help resolve this again as it's silly if this happens every time I try to update the program. I have been having repeated problems with Trados telling me it couldn't find the target file after I've been working for a while, so I lose everything since last time I saved. It's all in the memory, of course, but it’s frustrating to have to restart and redo this - that's why I thought I'd download the update to see if that resolved that - but I didn't expect not to be able to open it at all again
