First make sure you don't have any plugins installed as you may have one that needed to be updated to support the latest release of 2021 SR2.  

Please close Trados Studio, delete these folders and restart Trados Studio:

 c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins

 c:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Local\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins

 c:\ProgramData\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\16\Plugins

If that doesn't help then please create a new thread and don't piggy back on one that already has a case assigned to it.  This way we can convert your specific issue to a support case easily to get you some assistance from the technical support team.

Thank you, Paul, it worked. Except that now I cannot redownload my plugins. Apparently the RWS Appstore platform has been experiencing difficulties for some days. Any time I try to download a plug-in, I am prompted to login, even if I am already logged in.

Hello Laura, I just read your message here; I have been experiencing the same issue with the Appstore after downloading Trados Studio 2021 SR2... I downloaded glossary convertor but it must be before the system dropped down. When I was trying to download glossary plugin, it didn't work. I want to ask you a question, does it matter if both ( glossary convertor and glossary plugin ) are 2017 or not? I don't have any experience with Trados Studio yet, so I'll appreciate any help or suggestions. Thank you.
