Maybe because you have not updated the multilingual excel filetype that you probably have installed?

I was unable to download the updated Multilingual Excel Filetype from the App Store. So, I uninstalled and applied the 17.0.1.11652 update again. And it worked! I will download the updated Multilingual Excel Filetype once the App Store is back online.

It is online... yo need to use the  (Missing Wiki Page) 

If you had CU1 installed it would have set this up for you so it worked out the box, but now you might have to do it manually.  It's easy enough though... read the info in the link.

Indeed. I noticed the banner on the Community home page after answering and followed the the steps described at  https://community.rws.com/product-groups/trados-portfolio/rws-appstore/w/wiki/6403/private-appstore. It was pretty easy and everything is up and running now.

Be careful though.  If you have not updated to CU1 then the plugin available on the PA (if you are able to download it... hopefully you won't) will cause the older version of 2022 to crash.

I got the same issue a few days ago. Reimaged my laptop from the working version before the update.

I tried again tonight to update to 17.0.1.11652 and Studio 2022 crashed again when I confirmed a segment.

I searched the community and hopefully find this post, so I removed the Multilingual Excel Filetype and this time could save to reimage my laptop again.

- Why is this Multilingual Excel Filetype app creating this mess if you do not update it or remove it before an update?

- Can this be fixed once for all and avoid this lost of time for the next Trados update?

- If this Multilingual Excel Filetype app is the only one causing this type of crash, why is it approved by Trados for installation?

Sorry, but this is a huge inconvenience and i am sure Francesco and I were not the only one to get bogged down.

First of all it's a plugin and not a part of Studio.  Secondly there is a note in the release notes if you read them.

Read the release notes.  There was an update released with CU1.

Paul, Thanks for getting back to me.

I am afraid I do not have the time to read the release notes.
I understand this plugin is not part of Studio like all my other plugins (I currently have 13 installed) and unfortunately that one was the issue.
