I sometimes have to work from .xml files which I import into Trados. I have already received help creating a custom XML filetype and that is mostly working. However, every segment in the files I import is displayed three times. This makes is very frustrating to navigate and translate. I have attached an image to help explain my issue.
Does anyone know how I can prevent this from happening? I am at a complete loss.
You did not tell us your version of Studio. So I suppose you simply need to update to the newest version.

The beta is not the latest version. Please only use the production version.
