Hi,
I am trying to transfer my Trados Studio 2021 Freelance (not Plus) to a new PC. The newly installed product, which has not yet been activated, displays the following 2 notifications:
i.e. 'No internet connection' for Cloud Services, but the online updates are detected without any problem - on a PC with a full working Internet connection.
The newly installed version is the one provided in my Account page, which I can access using my credentials via a browser without any problem.
The little 'Sign In' tab shows that I an not signed-in, both in the new and the existing installation (the latter has performed almost flawlessly for years).
Tried to Deactivate the existing Studio installation (which is on a PC with full working Internet connection), but I get the following message:
After pressing OK > OK (no actual deactivation), I get the following message:
Trados Studio closes automatically, and, when I re-open it, it is still activated :) .
Tried to activate the new installation, just to see if I will get any kind of error message, and I see again this:
Please note also that I tried both Repair and Re-installation for the newly installed product.
So, after this long description, and given that there are no Internet connectivity problems in both my PCs, my question is:
Is there currently any problem with the Activation/Cloud Services servers which will be resolved in a few hours/days, or should I attempt to perform the offline Deactivation/Activation process, or there is something else that I can do?
Thank you in advance,
Paul Margelos
