Analyse of pretranslated segments in XLF files

Hello,

I've discovered today, that segments that are pretranslated in a xlf file (XLIFF 1.2 filter) are not considered in the analyze of the prepared sdlxliff. If I analyze without a TM, I only see new matches, repetitions and if I want the locked segments. But not the translated files.

Is there any possibility to take the segments into account in the analyze in a few steps? The best I can imagine is to create a temp TM for the project and update it right at the beginning before analyzing. Have you any better option?

    I think, because the analysis is driven from the TM, you have no choice but to do what you have suggested.  I created a custom batch task like this:

    This gave me an analysis, from an empty TM, like this:

    So that worked and validates your thought process.  I also don't have a better idea.  I had a quick play using "XLIFF Manager" from Maxprograms and this might be useful for you once you understand how to interpret the results... although it may be a little limited in terms of what it reports on:
