When you open an InDesign file in Studio 2022 and translate it, what type of Output file do you get when you save the target file... a French (in my case) InDesign file or a Word file or....???

Hi Serge,
If you don't have InDesign yourself (as is the case with me), you can still translate the IDML file without any problem. The formatting information is not touched at all and my clients have always been happy with the results. In order too proofread my translation (I always use a printed version for that rather than working directly on-screen), I simply mark the entire target text and copy it into an empty Word file. It's completely unformatted of course, but quite sufficient for reading purposes.
