Issues with prompt windows

Hi,

I’m using multiple screens on my PCs. The problem is that prompts are hidden if you do somethin in another app (e.g. when I’m starting Trados and there are Plugin issues and I get a prompt or when I open files in a project from a customer where Trados can’t find a file and I get a prompt).

I’m not sure what causes this issue. It’s quite annoying because first, instead of opening that prompt over the Trados Studio window, the get opened on the screen where the cursor is located at that moment.

Second the prompt window is immediately hidden "behind" the other window(s) so quite often you wait for Trados to "react" but can’t see any issue if you didn’t see such a prompt pop up because you looked at screen 3 (to the very right of the desk) but the prompt opened on screen 1 (to the very left of the desk).

The next issue is that you if you saw the prompt and minimize the window it disappeared behind, you don’t see the prompt. So it can happen that you have to close 4 or 5 windows in order to get to that nagging prompt.

Another problem is that using ALT+TAB to switch between windows does not work either because all these prompts are not showing up there at all. You can only make these visible by using Win+Tab and then clicking on the prompt to get it active and chose whatever option you want.

So besides the fact to get this visibility issue fixed, maybe it would be nice to get an automated handling option for such prompts within the general options section:

Which action to chose if Unsigned Plugin is found: {Click Yes | Click No}

Which action to chose if a file in a project is not found: {Search for the file | Don’t search for the file}

The options within {} should be adapted to the available buttons on the respective prompt.

I experienced this in Studio 2021 and 2022. Not sure for the versions before.
