Files in TMX are not beeing imported in trados 2022 so I get no suggestions

Hallo,
I have a question.
Documents in my TMX file are just beeing read but not imported so I get no suggestions in trados 2022 only in trados 2017. I have been discussing this with Ana from trados and she told me that the dev team is workning on the problem. I wanted to know how long it will take to solve the problem?

    You mean should you delete all your TMX files after importing them successfully?  That's up to you.  If you want to keep them then don't, if you have no other use for them then go ahead and delete them.  It's a good idea to always export your updated SDLTM to a TMX on a regular basis anyway.  Keep a backup and update it at appropriate intervals... so maybe export a new copy every week for example.  Just in case your SDTM ever has a problem it's easy to recover from a TMX.

    Do you think the problem will be solved this year?

    I have no idea.  I would say not as this is so simple to fix in the TMX files it probably has a lower priority than other things.  It's also TMX files that come from some other system so that also lowers the priority... a problem with a TMX from Studio would be bad!

    Having said that, if the fix in the program is simple the developer might do it when working on something else.  The support team will be able to update you if they gave you a CRQ number as they will be tracking it through a support account.
