I would say, especially since they seem to be segmented nicely, that the best solution would be this:

1. filter on the numbers
2. copy source to target
3. lock them (I would not confirm them as you probably don't want them in your TM)
4. filter on unlocked
5. Job done

Paul, why do you recommend here to "copy source to target" and then lock? When I want to avoid importing number-segments into the TM, but I want to keep them as they are, I use the Display filter "show only numbers", delete any AT content (if there is any) and leave the segments empty. Of course, this basic filter will not include other numeric combinations (that can be done with advanced filters). The question is, why just not leave those segments blank? When generating the document, Trados will automatically fill those segments with "source information" (no need to lock-unlock...:)

Leaving the segment blank or copy source to target is a matter of personal preference. There is a third way: copy source to target and then set status as Translated, so it won't count as a word to be translated.

Locking the segment ensures that the content won't be replaced again by an Automated Translation and go unnoticed by the translator/reviewer/PM. Also if I see that someone locked that segment, there must must be a reason, so I won't edit it without asking first.

Exactly.

It's also easy to filter on when needed.
