is there any possibility to run the pre-translation task applying a filter (regex) to prevent Trados from generating segments containing only numbers/ numbers+symbols / alphanumericals, etc?

Why don't you filter on them and exclude them from being included in the pretranslation in the first place? This can be done before you pretranslate, or you could replace them afterwards... whatever works for you. You can also do this across multiple files/projects.
