When trying to write the JSON paths for SDL Studio 2021 I get empty xliff

Question

Hi, 
 I am currently using SDL 2021. I need to create the rules to parse a JSON file as the client only needs the translation of the content of specific segments: 
 
 "initial_responses" (highlighted below in yellow) 
 "buttons_responses" / "title" and "payload" (highlighted below in orange)

These are the paths I was using: 
 
 I am clearly indicating the paths wrong, but can't figure out the issue. If someone can give me a tip I would really appreciate it!

 If you could provide a sample file I'd be able to verify my suggestions. 
 $.. initial_responses 
 $.. buttons_responses[*].title 
 $..buttons_responses[*].payload 
 But if these don't work perhaps you could share the file and I'd be happy to have another go?
