Hello!
I'm working in SDL Trados Studio 2021 Freelance (latest version) and auto-propagation is working but the dialog box that pops up where you can confirm or decline the match has completely disappeared. So I can't continue working without pressing ESC. I assume this has to do with the fact that I'm working on multiple screens.
I'd appreciate some helpful advice!
You could try going to View -> Reset Window Layout. That sometimes works for a missing window.
Alternatively try the approach that works for users who lost their find and replace window: RE: Search and Replace box does not display
Maybe that will also help here. I haven't seen this one before but it seems a similar problem.

I've tried both those suggestions and neither works. I've also disconnected my other monitors as well as reduced the display scale of my main laptop screen. Nothing works. .
ok - perhaps something in your settings is remembering this. Try a reset of the application.
To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:
c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\
to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16_old\
If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:
Then restart Trados Studio and see if that helped.

Thanks - that worked! I'll be curious to see how long it lasts. If it happens again, can I just keep changing the name of that folder?
Well... I've never seen this happen before so i seems quite unusual. But if it does then sure... you can rename the folder as much as you like. There are consequences to this as you will lose some settings but you won't lose actual work. You could also clear up the folders so yo don't build up crap. One Studio restarts successfully you can delete the folders you renamed as they won't be used again anyway.
