Translating Think-cell content

Hi 
 I recently had the following problem: A powerpoint presentation included some tables from excel which where connected through Think-cell. The tables were editable in powerpoint, so I assumed it would be no problem to translate them. 
 When I received the translated file and generated the target text I saw that the tables were still in their source language. Apparently, Trados doesn't recognize the cells as text, but as either a picture or a date. 
 It seemed to include the text in the cell in the tag "datetime". 
 
 Now I'm wondering if anyone has ever had the same problem and how to solve this? 
 The manual way is too cumbersome when there are several tables in a file.

Zora Schneider I had to do some research into this Think-cell as I had never heard of it before. As this a not a standard feature of Excel/Powerpoint and it requires the Think-cell plugin to install, our file type processors would not know how to handle the content as you would expect. I assume you have both the PowerPoint and the Excel available to you? While I love the feature it supports you with, a quick look does not suggest they have API's by which we can develop a sensible file type for you. But I will keep looking out and in the meantime if you have any information that may be helpful for the AppStore Team, please do share. If possible I would also love to see your file(s)
