Thanks for your reply, but this did not work. I reset the view and it indeed reset all my preferred settings, but the dialogue box did not return, so I am forced to cancel all autopropagate options for fear of confirming non-100% ones.

I have tried several times and restarted my pc.

I see, sorry to hear this.

Perhaps the settings preserved in Studio are still being activated in the back!

Please try the following, which is a Studio reset:

To do this just close Trados Studio and then rename this folder:

c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16\

to c:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\SDL\SDL Trados Studio\Studio16_old\

If you can't find this folder then you need to unhide your hidden files/folders:

www.howtogeek.com/.../

Then restart Trados Studio.
