As per title.
Ctrl-T for look-up and application of a match does not work if the Translation Results pane is not at the foreground (behind a Messages pane).
This is not justified.
Additionally: I would like to deactivate the message displaying in isuch pane
and
to dismiss (all, or individually) messages about trivial formatting points (e.g.: additional parentheses when it is deliberate).

CTRL+T applies the translation shown in the Translation Results window, right? I disagree and I wouldn’t like anything I can’t see to be inserted in the Target.

If you don’t want to show the translation results window, untick this checbox: File > Options > Editor > Automation > Perform lookup when active segment changes.

Trados Studio won’t know if it’s deliberate or not. If you don’t want to show some kind of messages, don't check for them in QA Checker settings:
