"Translate" from English into English

Question

Hi everyone -- 
 A customer sometimes sends me documents that are already written in English (or better: something resembling English) and my job is to correct the English text. 
 My question: Would there be a way to import these documents into Trados Studio and "translate" them there? 
 Currently, the client is using a Typo3 CMS, so I could get access to XML files containing the text. So far, I have been correcting the text directly in the Typo3 user interface, but that is not very convenient (no track changes, no concordance, etc.). 
 Any thoughts?

Hi Gary Hess , 
 In such a case, set up a project for any English variant that is not your target language into your English variant (probably EN_US or EN_GB). Then, import and "translate" the text as usual. We also create a special TM with this language combination for this purpose.
