How to import PPT notes into SDL Trados 2022?

Question

I recently installed SDL Trados Studio 2022 and created a project with a PPT file, but the PPT notes are not reflected in the project. I selected File Type - Common, and selected the [Notes] check box, but no change.

 This is not quite the correct understanding of your problem. I think what this means is you simply made your change in the project settings for an existing project and this is too late. If you want this option to take effect you have to do it before you create your project. So if you are only working with the default project templates and don't create your own, then this is indeed under File -> Options . So all new projects, for you, will always be using the settings in File -> Options . This is the only place you need to make the change in your case.

 The most likely problem is that you are making the change to the wrong filetype, or to the filetype in a project template that you are not using when you create a project, or you are making this change after you have already created your project. 
 But if none of these apply then can you do the following: 
 
 take one slide from your ppt and save it with a new name 
 remove all the content apart from the notes 
 edit the notes so they don't contain anything you might not be able to share 
 attach this slide to your response so we can take a look.
